Ha-HA! Just when you were reasonably deducing that I am at my very worst when receiving instruction from someone other than myself, this charming commission dropped into my lap. She provided a poem, a vague description of the image, and all the time I needed to do the painting right - which turned out to be about 8 weeks (including the detailed linear and a color sketch). And this painting seems to have become a favorite on the site... |
